On Saturday, July 27, WERU Community Radio presents Akae Beka, featuring Vaughn Benjamin from the legendary band Midnite! Straight from St. Croix, Akae Beka will bring their Rasta roots sound to Fort Knox in Prospect, ME. Opening up the evening will be Maine’s own Gorilla Finger dub.
Adding to the fun will be a special beer release by Fogtown Brewing Company, food by the Caribbean Food Whisperer, and live painting during the show! Jam the night away under the stars inside historic Fort Knox. This is a first of its kind event and all are welcome (free for kids 12 and under!), so come on out to support WERU!
Doors open at 6:30 PM, with music until 11:00.
